Camel Festival: After 8 years, sandy dunes involved, camel Festival of Bikaner

This time the International Camel Festival will be held from 7 to 9 January 2022. In Bikaner india. The last events were held in the year 2012 on the golden dunes of bikaner. That year, after the tension in Ladera sandy village, no events were held in any part of village of Bikaner. Then the District Collector Aarti Dogra had given instructions to call Police force. However, visits to Raiser were included as a formality.

But now situations have changed. Sandy dunes have involved again for camel festival. This year the camel festival will see heritage walks, cultural programs as well as events like Rajasthani cuisine, art and craft demonstrations, Amrita Haat and bird watching. District Collector Namit Mehta organized a meeting in this regard in the Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday and directed to make all the preparations well in time.

Mehta informed that from 5.15 pm on the first day of the festival, a heritage walk will come out from Laxminath temple to Rampuria Havelis. A cultural evening 'Jhankar' will be organized on the same day at Sursagar lake. The programs for the second day will begin at 9 am with a procession from Junagadh onwards. This procession from here Dr. Karni Singh Stadium, where Miss Marwan, Camel Shringar, Mr. Bikana, Camel Shearing and Camel Dance competitions were organized. On the same day, Rhythms of Life program will be organized at Darbari lake from 4.30 pm, in which yoga, meditation and decoction will be distributed along with music presentation. Celebrity Night will be held at Dr. Karni Singh Stadium from 6.30 pm. The second day's programs will conclude with fireworks.

Programs will be held in Raisar on the last day

Bird watching program 'Pakheru' will be held at Jorabir Conservation Reserve from 7.30 am on the third day. In view of the possibilities of rural tourism in Bikaner, programs of the third day will also be organized at the gates of Raiser. This program will start from 11.30 am. During this there will be men and women tug of war, camel dance, matka race, camel ride, rural wrestling and other competitions. From 4 pm onwards, camel race and horse racing competition will be held at National Research Center for Camel. Sur Sangam and Agni in Raiser itself from 6.30 pmDance will be held. The program will end with fireworks

आखिर 8 साल बाद रेतीले धोरे

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊंट उत्सव इस बार 7 से 9 जनवरी 2022 तक आयोजित किया जाएगा। बीकानेर में अंतिम बार वर्ष 2012 में सुनहरे मिटटी के धोरों पर आयोजन हुए थे। इस साल लाडेरा गाँव में तनाव के बाद बीकानेर के किसी धोरे पर आयोजन नही हुए। तब तत्कालीन जिला कलेक्टर आरती डोगरा ने आरएसी बुलाने के निर्देश दिए थे। हालांकि औपचारिकता के तौर पर रायसर के दौरे शामिल किए गए थे।

इस वर्ष ऊंट उत्सव में हैरिटेज वाक, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के साथ राजस्थानी व्यंजन,आर्ट एंड क्राफ्ट प्रदर्शन, अमृता हाट और बर्ड वाचिंग जैसे आयोजन भी किए जाएंगे। जिला कलेक्टर नमित मेहता ने शनिवार को कलेक्ट्रेट सभागार में इस सम्बन्ध में बैठक आयोजित कर समस्त तैयारियां समय रहते करने के निर्देश दिए।
मेहता ने बताया कि उत्सव के पहले दिन सायं 5.15 बजे से लक्ष्मीनाथ मंदिर से रामपुरिया हवेलियों तक हैरिटेज वाॅक निकलेगी। इसी दिन सूरसागर पर सांस्कृतिक संध्या ‘झंकार’ आयोजित की जाएगी। दूसरे दिन के कार्यक्रमों की शुरुआत प्रातः 9 बजे जूनागढ़ के आगे से शोभायात्रा के साथ होगी। यह शोभायात्रा यहां से डाॅ. करणी सिंह स्टेडियम जाएगी, जहां मिस मरवन, ऊंट श्रृंगार, मिस्टर बीकाणा, ऊंट बाल कटाई तथा ऊंट नृत्य प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। इसी दिन सांय 4.30 बजे से दरबारी झील पर रिदम्स ऑफ लाइफ कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसमें संगीत प्रस्तुति के साथ योग व ध्यान तथा काढ़ा वितरण होगा। सायं 6.30 बजे से डॉ. करणीसिंह स्टेडियम में ही सेलिब्रिटी नाईट होगी। दूसरे दिन के कार्यक्रमों का समापन आतिशबाजी के साथ होगा।

अंतिम दिन रायसर में होंगे कार्यक्रम
तीसरे दिन प्रातः 7.30 बजे से जोड़बीड़ कंजर्वेशन रिजर्व में बर्ड वाचिंग कार्यक्रम ‘पखेरू’ होगा। बीकानेर में ग्रामीण पर्यटन की संभावनों को देखते हुए तीसरे दिन के कार्यक्रम रायसर के धोरों पर भी आयोजित किए जाएंगे। यह कार्यक्रम प्रातः 11.30 बजे से होंगे। इस दौरान पुरुष व महिला रस्साकस्सी, ऊंट नृत्य, मटका दौड़, केमल राइड, ग्रामीण कुश्ती एवं अन्य प्रतियोगिताएं होंगी। सांय 4 बजे से राष्ट्रीय उष्ट्र अनुसंधान केन्द्र में ऊंट दौड़ व घुड़दौड़ प्रतियोगिता होगी। सायं 6.30 बजे से रायसर में ही सुर संगम व अग्निनृत्य आयोजित किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम का समापन आतिशबाजी के साथ होगा।
