खैर विदेशी बाला अपने प्रेम के चलते रमेश के पास में हरियाणा के उसी गाँव में चली आयी है पहली बार में तो रमेश के घर वाले और आस पास के लोग भी हैरान ही थे कि इतनी दूर विदेश से लडकी उनके घर के बेटे से प्यार के चलते हुए मिलने के लिए आई है। लेकिन अब यह लड़की इन दिनों हिन्दू रिवाजो के साथ में रमेश के साथ में शादी करने और अपनी जिन्दगी देशी तरीके से बिताने की बहुत ही ज्यादा इच्छुक है। 

वो चूल्हा जलाने से लेकर रोटियां पकाने तक सब कुछ सीख रही है ताकि देशी लाइफस्टाइल को सीख सके और रमेश के साथ जिन्दगी बिता सके। चूल्हा जलाना, सब्जी बनाना आदि का अभ्यास चल रहा है। यूरोप के देशों में एक जैसा जीवन यापन कर चुकी अनेक युवतियों को मैंने जैसलमेर औऱ बीकानेर के मिट्टी के धोरों और गावों में देशी शैली में जीवनयापन करते देखा है। जैसलमेर और पुष्कर में अनेक विदेशी युवतियों ने विवाह भी किये है ।कुछ साल पहले बीकानेर में चेक गणराज्य की दो युवतियों ने बाजरे का खीचड़ा कूटना और देशी चूल्हे पर बनाना सीखा था।
