In terms of tourism, Rajasthan is very rich compared to other states of India. This is the reason that every third tourist of the tourists arriving in India arrives to visit Rajasthan. Rajasthan has many things including camels, forts, havelis, palaces, majestic splendor, attire, locrang, indigenous culture, which makes it rich in tourism.

        Every year, tourists reach here from many countries of Europe besides America. If someone likes to do Camel Safari here, then one sees the ancient havelis here and presses fingers under the teeth.

Easy to reach in Rajasthan

Very easy to reach in rajasthan,  by air, rail, bus and other means of transport. Tourists in Rajasthan often visit during the winter season. However, due to a holiday in European countries in July-August, the young people reach to visit Rajasthan in both these months too. Tourists are more frequent from october to April.

         Due to the scorching heat in May and June, Rajasthan has an off season, very few tourists come here in these two months. Earlier, during the summer season, Bag Packer Tourist also used to come here. These are the major tourist destination countries and tourists of the world reach to visit different districts of Rajasthan.

       All other tourist districts are connected to the capital Jaipur. The other name of Jaipur is also Pink City. In ancient times the color of houses here was pink. Amer Fort is the major attraction in Jaipur, besides tourists come to see Hawa Mahal, Jantar-Mantar, Jal Mahal.

       Jaisalmer is a major tourist destination in western Rajasthan. Sonar Fort, the mystery of Kuldhara, Gadisar Talab, Sunset Point, Nathmal Haveli, Patwans Haveli, Jain Temple are special attractions. The ancient civilization and architecture of Rajasthan can be seen here. The sprawling evenings and the dholes have their own special charm.

        Jodhpur district has also been the center of attraction for tourists. The Mehrangarh Fort here is situated on a hill. It is the only fort which is on the hill. Apart from this, Mandore, Umaidbhavan Palace, Kalyan Lake etc. are the attractions. 

      Bikaner is located in the world famous Rat Mother, Rat  Temple Bikaner. It is the major district of western Rajasthan. Thousands of rats can be seen simultaneously in the rate temple. Tourists are surprised to see these. Apart from this, the fort of Junagadh, Lalgarh, Gajner Palace, Kolayat, Bhandasar Jain Temple, Laxminath Temple and Havelis are special attractions. In recent years, the National Camel Research has emerged as a new tourist destination.

         Chittorgarh  is known for the pride and historical stronghold of the Rajputs. It is situated on the banks of a river named Berach. Queen Padmavati's palace is also here. Apart from this, Rana Kumbha's palace, Johar fair, Ekling ji temple, Kalika temple etc. are popular.

        Udaipur In recent years, the name of Udaipur has grown rapidly in wedding tourism. Fatehsagar lake, City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli, Shrinathji temple, etc. are the major tourist places here. Udaipur is also known as Mewar.

          Ajmer-Pushkar is one of the prominent tourist destinations of Pushkar, Rajasthan in Ajmer. Here is the only temple of Brahmaji. Tourist movement remains here throughout the year. Khwaja Mohanuddin Chishti's Dargah Sharif is located in Ajmer. Ajmer district is surrounded by the Aravalli hill. Due to this, the pleas of Pushkar here, force the tourists to come again and again. 

         Mount Abu  is the hill station of Rajasthan. Which is popular among domestic and foreign tourists. Mount Abu is situated amidst the Aravalli hills. Here people arrive from different parts of the country during the summer days.

आखिर क्यों मशहूर है राजस्थान?

पर्यटन के लिहाज से देखा जाए तो भारत के अन्य राज्यों की तुलना में राजस्थान काफी समृद्ध है। यही वजह है कि इण्डिया में पहुंचने वाले सैलानियों में से प्रत्येक तीसरा पर्यटक राजस्थान की सैर करने के लिए पहुंचता है। राजस्थान में ऊंट, किले, हवेलियां, महल, राजसी वैभव, पहनावा, लोकरंग, देसी संस्कृति सहित अनेक बातें हैं जो इसे पर्यटन के लिहाज से समृद्ध बनाती है। प्रति वर्ष यहां अमरीका के अलावा यूरोप के अनेक देशों से भी पर्यटक यहां पहुंचते हैं। किसी को यहां कैमल सफारी करना पसन्द है तो कोई यहां प्राचीन हवेलियों को देखकर दांतों तले अंगुंलियां दबा देता है। 

यूं पहुंचे राजस्थान 

देश की राजधानी दिल्ली से यहां हवाई सेवा के साथ रेल, बस और अन्य यातायात के साधनों से पहुंचा जा सकता है। 

राजस्थान में पर्यटक प्राय सर्दी के मौसम में घूमने आते हैं। हालांकि जुलाई-अगस्त में यूरोपीय देशों में अवकाश होने के कारण युवा वर्ग इन दोनों माह में भी राजस्थान घूमने के लिए पहुंचते हैं। अक्टूबर से अप्रेल के बीच सैलानी अधिक आते हैं। मई और जून में भीषण गर्मी के चलते राजस्थान में ऑफ सीजन रहता है, पर्यटक बहुत कम आते हैं। पहले गर्मी के मौसम में बेग पैकर टूरिसट भी यहां आया करते थे।

देश और दुनिया के पर्यटक राजस्थान के अलग-अलग जिलों में घूमने के लिए पहुंचते हैं। राजधानी जयपुर से अन्य सभी पर्यटन जिले जुड़े हैं। जयपुर का दूसरा नाम पिंक सिटी भी है। प्राचीन समय में यहां मकानों का रंग गुलाबी था। जयपुर में आमेर का किला प्रमुख आकर्षण है इसके अलावा हवा महल, जन्तर-मन्तर, जल महल का दीदार करने पर्यटक आते हैं।

जैसलमेर

पश्चिमी राजस्थान में जैसलमेर एक प्रमुख टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन है यहां सोनार किला, कुलधरा का रहस्य, गडीसर तालाब, सनसैट प्वाइंट, नथमल हवेली, पटवों की हवेली, जैन मन्दिर का विशेष आकर्षण है। राजस्थान की प्राचीन सभ्यता और स्थापत्य को यहां नजदीक से देखा जा सकता है। दूर तक फैले सम और खुहड़ी के धोरों का अपना खास आकर्षण है।

जोधपुर

जोधपुर जिला भी पर्यटकों केे आकर्षण का केन्द्र रहा है। यहां का मेहरानगढ़ फोर्ट पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। यह एकमात्र किला है जो पहाड़ी पर है। इसके अलावा मंडोर, उम्मेदभवन पैलेस, कल्याण झील आदि का आकर्षण है।

बीकानेर

विश्व प्रसिद्ध चूहों वाली माता, रेट टेम्पल बीकानेर में स्थित है। यह पश्चिमी राजस्थान का प्रमुख जिला है। रेट टेम्पल में एक साथ हजारों चूहे देखे जा सकते हैं। इन्हें देखकर पर्यटक आश्चर्यचकित हो जाते हैं। इसके अलावा जूनागढ़ का किला, लालगढ़, गजनेर पैलेस, कोलायत, भांडासर जैन मन्दिर, लक्ष्मीनाथ मन्दिर तथा हवेलियों का विशेष आकर्षण है। हाल ही के वर्षों में यहां राष्ट्रीय उष्ट्र अनुंसधान पर्यटकों में एक नया टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन बनकर उभरा है। 

चितौडग़ढ़

चितौडग़ढ़ को राजपूतों की शान और ऐतिहासिक गढ़ के लिए जाना जाता है। यह एक नदी जिसका बेराच नाम है उसके किनारे बसा है। रानी पदमावती का महल भी यहीं है। इसके अलावा राणा कुंभा का महल, जोहर मेला, एकलिंग जी मन्दिर, कालिका मन्दिर आदि लोकप्रिय है।

उदयपुर

हाल ही के वर्षों में उदयपुर का नाम वेडिंग टूरिज्म में तेजी से उछला है। यहां फतेहसागर झील  सिटी पैलेस, बागोर की हवेली, श्रीनाथजी मन्दिर आदि प्रमुख दर्शनीय स्थल है। उदयपुर को मेवाड़ के नाम से भ्ी जाना जाता है। 

पुष्कर

अजमेर में पुष्कर, राजस्थान के प्रमुख टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन में शुमार है। यहां ब्रह्माजी का इकलौता मन्दिर है। यहां पर्यटकों की आवाजाही वर्षभर रहती है। अजमेर में ख्वाजा मोहनुद्दीन चिश्ती की दरगाह शरीफ है। अजमेर जिला अरावली पहाड़ी से घिरा है। इसके चलते यहां के पुष्कर की वादियां, पर्यटकों को बार-बार आने के लिए मजबूर करती है। 

माउंट आबू

यह राजस्थान का हिल स्टेशन है। जो कि देसी-विदेशी सैलानियों में लोकप्रिय है। माउंट आबू अरावली पहाडिय़ों के बीच बसा है। यहां गर्मी के दिनों में देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों से लोग पहुंचते हैं।
