Jaisalmer is rich in tourism. The arrival of domestic and foreign tourists here enjoy. Jaisalmer is famous as Swarnagari, tourists reach Jaisalmer from seven seas across the sea. Tourists experience thrills here, although there are many tourist places here, but the Kuldhara village of Jaisalmer remains a mystery even today. 

Never settled back Kuldhara

         Kuldhara village of Jaisalmer is the only village that never settled back. This is the village where people once lived. Where ever there was life, however, due to this mystery, now this desolate Khandar village is becoming a major center of tourist attraction.

          No person in this village can muster the courage to stay the night. There is still a belief about Kuldhara that the souls reside here. Some people even claim to hear the voices of spirits. The entire village suddenly became empty. once Kuldhara Paliwal used to be the village of Brahmins. The entire village became one to save the honor of a girl from Kuldhara. It is said that one diwan of this village was Salam Singh. Which was Ayyash or not good. 

 

       He turned his eyes on a girl from the village Brahmins. Salam Singh became obsessed with him. He wanted to have that girl. After this, Salam Singh started pressurizing the villagers of the village. If the villagers did not agree, Salam Singh sent a message that he would attack the village on the full moon night and pick up the girl. The people of the village had just one night.

       People from 84 villages got angry with this Diwan. There was a panchayat in which it was decided that the daughter and honor of the village would not be given to that diwan. After this, the entire village was evacuated in one night. While evacuating Kuldhara, he cursed that no person will be found in these houses of Kuldhara. 

       

        Even after lakhs of lives, the desolate state government made millions of efforts to settle this village from time to time, but it could not be settled. This village was vacant about 200 years ago, the village could not be re-settled. Here the Peranormal Society is engaged in research to remove the spirits and its fears. Society says that there is no such thing as fear, just be confident. Many people come here for research.

रहस्य बरकरार : जैसलमेर का कुलधरा गांव

जैसलमेर : पर्यटन के लिहाज से जैसलमेर समृद्ध है। यहां देसी-विदेशी सैलानियों की आवक बनी रहती है। स्वर्णनगरी के नाम से विख्यात जैसलमेर में सात समन्दर पार से सैलानी पहुंचते हैं। यहां पर्यटक रोमांच का अनुभव करते हैं, वैसे तो यहां अनेक पर्यटन स्थल है, लेकिन जैसलमेर का कुलधरा गांव आज भी रहस्य बना हुआ है।

कभी वापस नहीं बसा कुलधरा

जैसलमेर का कुलधरा गांव एकमात्र गांव है जो कभी वापस नहीं बसा। यह वह गांव है जहां कभी लोग रहा करते थे। जहां कभी जीवन था, हालांकि इसी रहस्य के चलते अब यह वीरान खंडर गांव पर्यटकोंं के आकर्षण का प्रमुख केन्द्र बनता जा रहा है। इसी गांव में कोई भी व्यक्ति रात में ठहरने की हिम्मत नहीं जुटा पाता। कुलधरा के बारे में आज भी यह धारणा है कि यहां आत्माओं का निवास है। कुछ लोग आत्माओं की आवाजें सुनने का भी दावा करते हैं।

पूरा गांव अचानक खाली हो गया

कभी कुलधरा पालीवाल ब्राह्मणों का गांव हुआ करता था। कुलधरा की एक लड़की की इज्जत को बचाने के लिए पूरा गांव एक हो गया। कहते हैं कि इस गांव का एक दीवान था सालम सिंह। जो कि अय्याश था। उसकी बुरी नजर गांव के ब्राह्मणों की एक लड़की पर पड़ी। सालम सिंह उसका दीवाना हो गया। वह उस लड़की को हर हाल में पाना चाहता था। इसके बाद सालम सिंह ने गांव के मौजीज लोगों पर दबाव बनाना शुरू किया। गांव वाले नहीं माने तो सालम सिंह ने यह संदेशा भेजा कि वह पूर्णिमा की रात में गांव पर धावा बोलकर लड़की को उठा ले जाएगा। गांव के लोगों के पास बस एक रात थी।  84 गांवों के लोग इस दीवान से नाराज हो गए। इस पर एक पंचायत हुई जिसमें यह निर्णय हुआ कि गांव की बेटी और इज्जत उस दीवान को नहीं देंगे। इसके बाद पूरा का पूरा गांव एक रात में ही खाली कर दिया गया। कुलधरा को खाली करते हुए वे यह श्राप दे गए कि कुलधरा के इन घरों मे कोई बस नही पाएगा। 

लाख जतन के बाद भी वीरान

राज्य सरकार ने समय-समय पर इस गांव को आबाद करने के लाख जतन किए, लेकिन यहं आबाद नहीं हो सका। यह गांव लगभग 200 साल पहले खाली हुआ था, गांव फिर से नहीं बसाया जा सका। यहां आत्माओं और इसके डर को हटाने के लिए पेरानॉर्मल सोसायटी रिसर्च में लगी है। सोसायटी का कहना है कि डरने जैसी कोई बात नहीं होती बस आत्मविश्वास होना चाहिए। अनेक लोग यहां रिसर्च के लिए आते हैं।
