Rural tourism in Rajasthan

         Every third tourist arriving in Rajasthan wants to see the culture in the villages closely. This desire is drawing thousands of kilo meters away from the countries creating new saga of progress towards Rajasthan.

        People from many countries including France, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, love to visit the historic cities of Rajasthan and its rural areas. Although Bikaner may have a dream of roaming Europe, the people of the developed countries are reaching western Rajasthan in search of peace and different life style. Arriving in Rajasthan, foreign tourists are trying to meet the culture here.

        In European countries, Italian, French, Swiss people especially like desert. The attraction of homes and living is made in the villages of Rajasthan by seeing the love of old style homes, living, dress, folk songs, folk culture, desert ships made of ocher color and its adornment. The lifestyle of the villages of Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner is also a center of attraction. 

        In bikaner villages including Raisar, Himmatasar, Deshnok, Rasisar, Pithrasar of Bikaner, foreign tourists reach not only to see the culture of the place but also to wear the turban and odhi like the villagers. Such scenes can be seen in many villages. Many companies in Rajasthan included in the package tour have included other activities in their package tours including showing the rural culture closely, interviewing the rural life, showcasing the art of cooking the villages.

 Heritage royal train arriving in Bikaner and Jaisalmer and Jodhpur etc. are welcomed with traditional style.

      

       Rajasthani colors attract foreign tourists arriving in western Rajasthan especially indigenous colors.In rajasthan there are lots of colours. Bandhanas in red, green with mandanas, Laharia, Rajasthani kalbalian dress with bright colors, small cauldrons, cloths adorned with glass pieces, mojdi etc. are special attractions.

        Here, Rajasthani miniature paintings and arts, handicraft-rich products remain a special attraction. This is also one of the reasons why in European countries, multi-storey atlas, recreational clubs, seaside, parties with friends, etc. provide similar activities, boring life and monotony. Even after having all the facilities, his mind goes out of his desire to find something new.

        The interesting thing is that the number of people buying them is also increasing. People learn to cook dishes, people who reach Rajasthan are also learning to make foreign tourists dishes. Talking about the last five years, eight-ten tourists stayed in Bikaner and learned how to make many different dishes here. 

        In bikaner before two years two foreign girls of the Czech Republic had learned how to make rajasthani Bajra khichra on a wood-burning stove in Indira Colony. In a guest house located on Jaipur Road, the German girls learned the tricks of making chilli parathas and pakoras with their own hands. In the Gopeshwar township, the Danish family learned to make bajari bread and other dishes.

पर्यटकों को रिझाती है ग्रामीण संस्कृति

राजस्थान में पहुंचने वाला प्रत्येक तीसरा सैलानी गांवों में संस्कृति को नजदीक से देखना चाहता हे। यह चाह उसे हजारों किलोमीटर दूर प्रगति की नई गाथा रचते देशों से राजस्थान की ओर खींच रही है। पेरिस, जर्मनी, स्वीडन, बेल्जियम, स्विट्जरलैण्ड सहित अनेक देशों के लोग ऐतिहासिक शहर बीकानेर व इसके ग्राम्य क्षेत्रों में जाना पसन्द कर रहे हैं। बीकानेर में भले ही रसूखदार लोगों का सपना यूरोप घूमने का रहा हो, लेकिन विकसित देशों के लोग पश्चिमी राजस्थान में शान्ति व सुकून की तलाश में  पहुंच रहे हैं। राजस्थान में पहुंचकर विदेशी सैलानी यहां की संस्कृति से नजदीक से साक्षात होना चा रहे हैं। यूरोपीय देशों मेंं इटालियन, फ्रे च, स्विस लोगों को रेगिस्तान खासतौर पर पसन्द हैं।                                                     राजस्थान में अनेक कम्पनियां अपने पैकेज टूर मेंं ग्राम्य संस्कृति को नजदीक से दिखाने, ग्रामीण जन-जीवन का साक्षात करवाने, गांवों केे व्यंजन को बनाने की कला का प्रदर्शन सहित अन्य गतिविधियों को शामिल करने लगे हैं। बीकानेर और जैसलमेर तथा जोधपुर आदि में पहुंचने वाली हैरिटेज शाही गाड़ी का स्वागत देसी अन्दाज मेंं किया जाता है।

   

रिझाते हैं राजस्थानी रंग

पश्चिमी राजस्थान मेंं पहुंचने वाले विदेशी पर्यटकों को देसी रंग खासतौर पर रिझाते हैं। मांडणों से युक्त लाल, हरे रंग में बंधेज, लहरिया, राजस्थानी चटख रंगों से युक्त कालबेलियन ड्रेस, छोटी-छोटी कौडिय़ां, कांच के टुकड़ों से सजे वस्त्र, मोजड़ी आदि खास आकर्षण बने हुए हैं। यहां राजस्थानी मांडणे, हस्तशिल्प से युक्त उत्पादों का खास आकर्षण बना हुआ है।

यह भी एक वजह

दरअसल यूरोपीय देशों मेंं बहुमंजिला अट्टालिकाएं, मनोरंजक क्लब, समुन्द्र के किनारे, मित्रों के साथ पार्टियां आदि एक जैसी गतिविधियां, एकरस मेंं घुला जीवन उबाऊ व नीरसता प्रदान करता है। सभी सुविधाएं होने के बाद भी उनका मन कुछ नया खोजने की चाह में निकल पड़ता है। ऐसे मेंं उनका मन दुनियाभर मेंं शान्ति का  संदेश देने वाले भारत की ओर रुख भारत मेंं भी अत्याधुनिक महानगरों की बहुमंजिला इमारतों मेंं अपने देश की तरह समानता पाते हैं। 

       दिल्ली के हवाई अड्डे में उतरने के बाद उनका रुख होता है। राजस्थान की ओर। राजस्थान में भी पुष्कर, उदयपुर, जयपुर, जैसलमेर, बीकानेर, जोधपुर उनके पसन्दीदा स्थल है। इन्ही डेस्टिनेशन्स की ओर उनका रुख अधिक होता है। इसमेंं बीकानेर, जैसलमेर व जोधपुर में उन्हें ग्राम्य संस्कृति के नजारे देखने को मिलते हैं। 

यूरोप मेंं भी दीवानगी

ऐसी बात नहीं है कि केवल विदेशी लोग बीकानेर में आकर ही यहां की पोशाकें व वस्तुएं खरीद सकते हैं बल्कि अब यूरोपीय  देशों में भी अनेक दुकानों पर राजस्थानी पोशाकें, बीकानेरी नमकीन व वस्तुएं उपलब्ध होने लगी है। मजे की बात यह है कि उन्हें खरीदने वालों की संख्या भी बढ़ रही है। व्यंजन बनाना भी सीखते हैं

राजस्थान पहुंचने वाले लोग विदेशी सैलानी व्यंजन बनाना भी सीख रहे हैं। पिछले पांच वर्षो की बात करें तो आठ-दस पर्यटकों ने बीकानेर मेंं ठहरकर यहां अनेक तरह के व्यंजन बनाने सीखे। चैक गणराज्य की दो विदेशी बालाओं ने इन्दिरा कॉलोनी मेंं लकड़ी से जलने वाले चूल्हे पर बाजरे का खिचड़ा बनाना सीखा था। जयपुर रोड स्थित एक गेस्ट हाउस मेंं जर्मनी की बालाओं ने अपने हाथों से मिर्ची का पराठा व पकौड़े बनाने के गुर सीखे थे। गोपेश्वर बस्ती में डेनमार्क के परिवार ने बाजरी की रोटी व अन्य व्यंजन बनाने सीखे थे।
