The most impact of Corona has been on the hotel and tourism business. Tourism in Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Shekhawati and Bikaner, including Rajasthan, has lost its back. 

         Hotels are also craving tourists. The situation is that many tourism businessmen, guides, travel agents are unemployed. Even those working in big hotels and travel companies do not have work. Unemployment is also impacting their social life. Things have worsened due to the absence of foreign tourists.

        The native tourist is also afraid of Corona. People associated with tourism say that the situation is not going to improve in 2021 also. Let me tell you that due to Corona, there is a ban on tourism fairs held in Rajasthan. It also includes the camel festival of Bikaner. After March this year, no Festival was held anywhere.

       Meanwhile, amid growing concerns about the new strain of Corona virus which has surfaced in Britain, the Delhi government said that it will check the health status of the recent travelers from Britain to their home. Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that all passengers coming from Britain are being investigated for Kovid-19 at Delhi Airport. 

        The Delhi government is cautious in view of a new form of corona virus found in Britain. All passengers arriving from that country are being subjected to mandatory checks at Delhi Airport. In many countries of Europe, people are not leaving their country. It has tourists from Spain, France, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy etc. The majority of foreigners come from France in Bikaner, second place is Germany. Pushkar attracts more tourists from Israel, Portugal.According to Prem Aggarwal, hotelier and managing director of Sagar Hotel in Bikaner, Corona has been highly impacted. Although corona patients have decreased, the tourism and hotel business will take time to recover from this.

कोरोना का सर्वाधिक असर होटल एवं पर्यटन कारोबार पर हुआ है। राजस्थान के उदयपुर, पुष्कर, जैसलमेर, जोधपुर, शेखावाटी और बीकानेर सहित अन्य इलाकों में पर्यटन की कमर टूट गई है। होटलें भी सैलानियों को तरस रही है। हालात यह है कि अनेक पर्यटन व्यवसायी, गाइड, ट्रेवल एजेंट बेरोजगार है। 

       बड़ी होटलों और ट्रेवल कंपनियों में भी काम करने वालों के पास भी काम नहीं है। बेरोजगारी का असर उनके सामाजिक जीवन पर भी हो रहा है। विदेशी सैलानियो के नहीं आने के कारण हालात खराब हो गए हैं। देशी पर्यटक भी कोरोना से भयभीत है।

       पर्यटन से जुड़े लोगों का कहना है कि 2021 में भी हालात नहीं सुधरने वाले। आपको बता दूं कि कोरोना के चलते राजस्थान में आयोजित होने वाले पर्यटन मेलों पर रोक है। इसमें बीकानेर का ऊंट उत्सव भी शामिल है। इस वर्ष मार्च के बाद कहीं पर मेलो का आयोजन नहीं हुआ। इस बीच ब्रिटेन में सामने आए कोरोना वायरस के नए स्वरूप (स्ट्रेन) को लेकर बढ़ती चिंताओं के बीच दिल्ली सरकार ने कहा कि वह हाल में ब्रिटेन से आए यात्रियों के स्वास्थ्य की स्थिति की जांच उनके घर जाकर करेगी। दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने बताया कि ब्रिटेन से आने वाले सभी यात्रियों की दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे पर कोविड-19 के लिए जांच की जा रही है। 

           दिल्ली सरकार ब्रिटेन में मिले कोरोना वायरस के एक नए स्वरूप के मद्देनजर सतर्क है। उस देश से आने वाले सभी यात्रियों की दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे पर अनिवार्य जांच की जा रही है। यूरोप के अनेक देशों में भी लोग अपने देश को नहीं छोड़ रहे। इसमे स्पेन, फ्रांस, बेल्जियम, स्वीडन, पोलैंड, डेनमार्क, जर्मनी, स्वीट्ज़रलैंड, ऑस्ट्रिया, इटली आदि देशों के पर्यटक है। बीकानेर में सर्वाधिक विदेशी फ्रांस से आते है, दूसरे स्थान पर जर्मनी है। पुष्कर में इजराइल, पुर्तगाल से अधिक पर्यटक आते हैं। बीकानेर में होटल व्यवसायी और सागर होटल के प्रबंध निदेशक प्रेम अग्रवाल के अनुसार कोरोना का अत्यधिक असर हुआ है। हालांकि कोरोना के रोगी कम हुए है, लेकिन पर्यटन और होटल व्यवसाय को इससे उबरने में समय लगेगा।
