        Rajasthani danced once again here today. A dance which has hoisted the name of Rajasthan in the country and abroad. Its name is Bhavai Dance. Artists dancing with unmatched balance on swords, glass pieces thrill them. That is why the name Bhavai dance is the name of this unique dance of Rajasthan. 

        Actually this dance is associated with a caste of Mewar region in Rajasthan called Bhawai. This dance is performed by the Bhavai caste by keeping a number of pitchers on their head with a balance. Fire is also kept in the pitches during the dance. Without this view, Rajasthan tourism is also incomplete, tourists are eager to capture this scene in their cameras and videos.

       In this way, it is only a dance of men. But nowadays women also perform this dance. The artists of Bhavai dance have made a mark in many countries of the world besides the country. Rajasthani artists have performed unmatched in many countries including France, England, South Africa, Spain.

भवाई नृत्य : बेमिसाल अदायगी और लय का दूसरा नाम

राजस्थान का नाम सुनकर यहां आने वाला पर्यटक रोमांचित हो जाता है। दूर तक फैले सोनलिया मिट्टी के धोरे, ऊंट और परम्परागत वेशभूषा में कलाकार। यहां चटख रंगों की रंगत है तो बेमिसाल कलाकार और उनके द्वारा प्रस्तुत लयबद्ध नृत्य मन मोह लेते हैं। यहां की संस्कृति और रहन-सहन, पहनावा प्रत्येक बात में कलात्मकता है। यहां आज  एक बार फिर से राजस्थानी नृत्य की। एक ऐसा नृत्य जिसने देश-विदेश में राजस्थान के नाम का परचम फहराया है। इसका नाम है भवाई नृत्य। तलवारों, कांच के टुकड़ों पर बेमिसाल सन्तुलन के साथ नृत्य करते कलाकार रोमांचित कर देते हैं।

इसलिए नाम है भवाई नृत्य

राजस्थान के इस अनूठे नृत्य का नाम भवाई क्यों है? दरअसल यह नृत्य मेवाड़ क्षेत्र की एक जाति से जुड़ा है जिसका नाम भवाई है। भवाई जाति द्वारा अपने सिर पर बहुत से घड़ों को सन्तुलन के साथ रखकर यह नृत्य किया जाता है। नृत्य के दौरान घड़ों में अग्रि भी रखी जाती है। इस दृश्य के बिना राजस्थान का पर्यटन भी अधूरा है इसी दृश्य को अपने कैमरों और वीडियो में कैद करने के लिए पर्यटक लालायित रहते हैं।

          ऐसे तो यह केवल पुरुषों का ही नृत्य है। लेकिन आजकल महिलाएं भी यह नृत्य करती है। भवाई नृत्य करने वाले कलाकारों ने देश के अलावा दुनिया के अनेक मुल्कों में धूम मचाई है। फ्रांस, इंग्लैंड, दक्षिणी अफ्रीका, स्पेन सहित अनेक देशों में राजस्थानी कलाकारों ने बेमिसाल प्रस्तुति दी है। राजस्थान में समय-समय पर होने वाले उत्सव, मेले और अन्य सांस्कृतिक समारोह, इस भवाई नृत्य के बगैर अधूरे हैं। चाहे जैसलमेर का डेजर्ट फेस्टिेवल हो, मेवाड़ फेस्टिवल हो या बीकानेर का ऊंट उत्सव और अन्य मेले। सभी में भवाई नृत्य की प्रस्तुति होती है। 

बेमिसाल लयबद्धता का दूसरा नाम भवाई

भवाई नृत्य में कलाकार द्वारा चमत्कारिक ढंग से सन्तुलन के साथ प्रस्तुति दी जाती है। अनेक चमत्कार इस नृत्य के दौरान देखे जा सकते हैं। नुकीले कीलों पर नंगे पांव थिरकना, तलवार और कांच के टुकड़ों पर नाचना, अपने सिर पर अनेक घड़ों में सन्तुलन बनाकर नाचना आदि इस नृत्य के हिस्से हैं। इसके अलावा नृत्य करते हुए पगड़ी को हवा में फैलाकर कमल का फूल बनाना, बोतल, गिलास और थाली के किनारों पर पैर की अंगुलियों से सन्तुलन बनाकर नृत्य करना आदि शामिल है। भवाई नृत्य ढोला-मारू, बोरी, शंकरिया, बीकाजी, सूरदास आदि नाच के तौर पर प्रसिद्ध है।

अनेक कलाकार ने मचाई धूम

 यहां अनेक कलाकार है जिन्होंने विश्व के अनेक देशों में राजस्थान के नाम का परचम फहराया है और पर्यटन विकास में भागीदार बने हैं। इन कलाकारों में रूप सिंह शेखावत, मानसी सिंह पंवार सहित अन्य कलाकार है। जो अब किसी परिचय के मोहताज नहीं है। बीकानेर के नारायण ने वर्षों तक इसकी प्रस्तुति दी। राजस्थान के अनेक कलाकारों की प्रस्तुति विश्व के अनेक देशों मे हो चुकी है और विभिन्न टी वी शो और टेलेन्ट हंट शो में भी राजस्थान के कलाकार जलवे बिखेर चुके हैं।
