         There are many hotels in the state whose year-round expenditure was due to these marriages. This includes five-star to three-star and other middle-class hotels and heritage group hotels. Circumstances have come to the fore that staff are being retrenched in hotels.

In Rajasthan, money has been spent extensively in the last two decades on marriage festivities. The effect of modernism is also seen on ancient traditions. With the light, decoration, the heritage look of the buildings in the wedding has also increased, while many people have started taking the heritage style buildings along with the gardens.

       In Rajasthan, wedding tourism has increased rapidly in the districts of Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Mandawa, Jaisalmer, Pushkar, Ajmer, Bikaner etc. Due to the increase of wedding tourism in Rajasthan, a good number of tourists reach hotels, buildings etc. from October to April. These tourists return to their country after capturing the occasion of marriage in their cameras. Prem Agarwal, a prominent hotelier in Bikaner, says that bookings due to weddings every year have been canceled. In the wedding season lasting from november to April, a large number of foreign foreign tourists come to stay here in the hotel, but due to Corona, the situation is bad. 

The most they suffered from

        Corona broke the wedding tourism. Most of the impact has been on hotels, as well as the tent business, decorations, hawkers, thermocal , baskets, coffee houses, bands and mare, DJ sound system, photographers, etc. They have had a famine due to the cancellation of weddings since March. Many of these people have demanded a package from the government, but the situation has not improved due to Corona. According to people associated with wedding tourism, the impact of Corona started in Rajasthan in March. Due to this, weddings in summer were postponed till winter, but the situation did not improve in August. Now nothing can be said about how the wedding season will be in winter.

विवाह उत्सव का नाम सुनते ही सभी के मन में गीत-संगीत की स्वर लहरियां हिलोरे मारने लगती है सभी उत्साहित दिखाई देते हैं। विश्व का शायद ही कोई ऐसी जगह हो जहां शादी का जश्र उत्साह के साथ न मनाया जाता हो, हालांकि सभी जगह वैवाहिक उत्सव मनाने का अलग-अलग तरीका हो सकता है। 

     

          पर्यटन के लिहाज से राजस्थान ऐसा राज्य है जिसकी गिनती विश्व के प्रमुख टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में की जाताी है। यहां के सभी प्रमुख शहर, पर्यटन और देसी संस्कृति के मामले में समृद्ध है। राजस्थान में पिछले आधे दशक में पर्यटन का एक नया शगल वजूद में आया है और वह- वेडिंग टूरिज्म। राजस्थान में न केवल राजे-रजवाड़ों बल्कि आमतौर पर होने वाली शादियों को देखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में विदेशी सैलानी पहुंचते हैं क्योंकि यहां की शादियों में परम्परा, संस्कृति आदि का समावेश रहता है।

कोरोना का तगड़ा असर राजस्थान के वेडिंग टूरिज्म पर पड़ा है। वेडिंग टूरिज्म से जुड़े लोगों की मानें तो कोरोना के कारण इस टूरिज्म को 2020 के अन्त तक 600 करोड़ का नुकसान होने का अनुमान है, मार्च के बाद से राजस्थान में हालात बिगड़े हुए हैं। अभी अगस्त चल रहा है, लेकिन हालात सुधर नहीं पाए हैं। राजस्थान में अनेेक नामचीन होटल और विवाह भवनों की बुकिंगें निरस्त हो चुकी है। यह सिलसिला अभी तक जारी है। प्रदेश में अनेक ऐसी होटलें हैं जिनके साल भर का खर्च इन शादियों की वजह से निकलता था। इसमें फाइव स्टार से लेकर थ्री स्टार और अन्य मध्यम श्रेणी की होटलें तथा हैरिटेज गु्रप की होटलें शामिल है। हालात यह आ चुके हैं कि होटलों में स्टाफ तक की छंटनी की जा रही है। 

ये शहर है वेडिंग टूरिज्म के हब

राजस्थान में विवाह उत्सव पर पिछले दो दशक में व्यापक स्तर पर पैसा खर्च हो रहा है। यहां प्राचीन परम्पराओं पर आधुनिकता का भी असर देखा जाने लगा है। लाइट, डेकोरेशन के साथ यहां शादी में हैरिटेज लुक की इमारतों का भी महत्व बढ़ा है वहीं अनेक लोग हैरिटेज स्टाइल के भवनों के साथ गार्डन भी लेने लगे हैं। राजस्थान में उदयपुर, जयपुर, जोधपुर, मंडावा, जैसलमेर, पुष्कर, अजमेर, बीकानेर आदि जिलों में वेडिंग टूरिज्म तेजी से बढ़ा है। पूरे राजस्थान में वेडिंग टूरिज्म के बढऩे से अक्टूबर से अप्रेल तक होटलो, भवनों आदि में अच्छी संख्या में सैलानी भी पहुंचते हैं।  ये सैलानी अपने कैमरों में शादी के अवसर कैद कर अपने देश लौटते हैं। बीकानेर के प्रमुख होटल व्यवसायी प्रेम अग्रवाल बताते हैं कि प्रतिवर्ष शादियों के पेटे होने वाली बुकिंगें निरस्त हुई है। नवम्बर से अप्रले तक चलने वाले वेडिंग सीजन मे बड़ी संख्या में देसी विदेशी सैलानी यहां होटल में ठहरने आते है, लेकिन कोरोना के चलते हालात बुरे बने हुए हैं।

कोरोना से सर्वाधिक इन्हें नुकसान

कोरोना ने वेडिंग टूरिज्म को तोड़ दिया है। सर्वाधिक असर होटलों पर तो पड़ा ही है, साथ ही टैन्ट व्यवसाय ,डेकोरेशन, फेरी वाले, थर्माकॉल, टोकरी, कॉफी हाउस, बैंड और घोड़ी वालों, डीजे साउंड सिस्टम, फोटोग्राफर आदि पर असर पड़ा है। मार्च के बाद से शादियों की बुकिंग निरस्त होने से इनके पास काम का अकाल पड़ा हुआ है। इनमें से अनेक लोग सरकार से पैकेज देने की मांग कर चुके हैं, लेकिन कोरोना के कारण स्थितियां सुधर नहीं पाई है। वेडिंग टूरिज्म से जुड़े लोगों के अनुसार मार्च में राजस्थान में कोरोना का असर शुरू हुआ था। इसके चलते गर्मियों में होने वाली शादियों को सर्दी तक के लिए स्थगित किया गया, लेकिन अगस्त में भी हालात नहीं सुधरे। अब सर्दी में वेडिंग सीजन कैसा रहेगा, इस बारे में कुछ नहीं कहा जा सकता।
