Historic building away from tourists

Bikaner can be the center of attraction of tourists. Rao Bikaji's Tekri is still far from tourists. Tourists have not been able to connect with this historic fort made of very famous

        Dulmera and marble stones. Although a large number of domestic and foreign tourists reach the Bhandasar Jain temple near Tekri, they have not been able to turn towards Tekri. Whereas Bikaner founder Rao Bikaji has a fine specimen of Tekri architecture. The Tekri is maintained by the Department of Archeology. 

Not publicity: There is not much publicity in the country and abroad about the technology of Bikaji.

          The website of the Department of Tourism also does not mention this place. The opening hours of Bikaji's Tekri are also from 10 am to 5 pm. Earlier, people used to gather at the Tekri campus on Holi and other occasions. Heritage and Ramanik's place The settlement of Rao Bikaji's Tekri was done in Heritage style. 

        

         The mythological doors, gumtianas, arches, inscriptions in it attest to the centuries-old image of Bikaner. The deep peace inside the tekri provides peace to the mind. At present, there is a need to spread the tekri on a wide scale. As soon as dusk dries, Andheera starts living in dusk as soon as dawn rises. There is no arrangement of lights nor connection for water, due to this it becomes dark in the Tekri campus as it is evening. While lights can be lit in its main campus at night. A cleanliness drive was carried out by the Department of Archeology here, but since then the conditions have remained the same.

सैलानियों से दूर ऐतिहासिक गढ़ी

 राव बीकाजी की टेकरी आज भी पर्यटकों से दूर है। दुलमेरा व संगमरमर के पत्थरों से बनी इस ऐतिहासिक गढ़ी से सैलानी नहीं जुड़ पाए हैं। हालांकि टेकरी के नजदीक भांडासर जैन मन्दिर में बड़ी संख्या में देसी-विदेशी पर्यटनक पहुंचते हैं, लेकिन टेकरी की ओर उनका रुख नहीं हो सका है। जबकि बीकानेर के संस्थापक राव बीकाजी की टेकरी स्थापत्य कला का बेहतरीन नमूना है।  टेकरी का रखरखाव पुरातत्व विभाग की ओर से किया जाता है। 

प्रचार-प्रसार नहीं

बीकाजी की टेकरी को लेकर देश-विदेश में अधिक प्रचार प्रसार नहीं किया जाता। पर्यटन विभाग की वेबसाइट में भी इस स्थल का जिक्र नहीं है। बीकाजी की टेकरी खुलने का समय भी सुबह 10 से लेकर शाम 5 बजे तक ही है। पहले होली व अन्य अवसरों पर लोग टेकरी परिसर में एकत्रित होते थे।

हैरिटेज व रमणीक है स्थल

राव बीकाजी की टेकरी की बसावट हैरिटेज स्टाइल में की गई थी। इसमें लगे पौराणिक दरवाजे, गुमटिंया, मेहराव, शिलालेख सदियों पुराने बीकानेर की छवि  से साक्षात करवाते हैं। टेकरी के अन्दर दूर तक पसरी शान्ति मन को सुकून प्रदान करती है। वर्तमान में टेकरी का व्यापक स्तर पर प्रचार-प्रसार किए जाने की आवश्यकता है। 

        राव बीकाजी की टेकरी में सांझ ढलते ही अंधियारा रहने लगता है। यहां रोशनी की व्यवस्था नहीं है ना ही पानी के लिए कनेक्शन है, इसके चलते शाम होते ही टेकरी परिसर में अंधेरा हो जाता है। जबकि रात्रि के समय इसके मुख्य परिसर में रोशनी की जा सकती है। पुरातत्व विभाग की ओर से यहां सफाई अभियान चलाया गया था, लेकिन इसके बाद से स्थितियां यथावत बनी हुई है।
